New Subaru Impreza 2023 Redesign, Release Date, Colors
New Subaru Impreza 2023 Redesign, Release Date, Colors – Subaru Impreza is a car that is constantly updated to stay competitive in its class. It is a well-built car with great attention to detail, but it’s not a great car. The New Subaru Impreza 2023 is a step closer to greatness. It has nothing to do with ride quality, build quality, standard specifications, or safety levels. It all comes down to the engine. The 2.0-liter four-cylinder naturally-aspirated engine produces just 152 horsepower. It also has 145 lb-ft of torque. This engine is mated to either an automatic five-speed gearbox or a CVT auto.

Exterior Design
The Subaru Impreza can be described as a 176.2-inch hatchback. The New Subaru Impreza 2023 badge at the front can be identified as a Subaru, but there isn’t much manufacturer design language to differentiate it from other hatches. All models except the Limited come with halogen headlights. The Premium and Limited have fog lights. The Limited features an entirely LED setup that rotates with you turning the steering wheel. Premium models have 16-inch alloy wheels, and the base model has steel wheels with covers.
The Impreza hatch is a class leader in its segment. The Mazda 3 is one of its most accomplished competitors, and it stacks up quite well. The overall length of the Impreza’s body is 176.2 inches. This makes it 0.6 inches longer than the Mazda. The Impreza’s wheelbase of 105.1 may be slightly shorter than that of the Mazda’s 107.3, but it’s still impressively high at 57.3 inches.
It measures 70 inches in width, excluding mirrors. This Mazda is 0.7 inches smaller than the Mazda. However, the weight is remarkable. With a curb weight of 2,989 pounds, the base model with a manual transmission is the lightest. The Limited, equipped with a CVT transmission, is the heaviest model, at 3,150 lbs. The Impreza is about 100 lbs more delicate than the Mazda. This is impressive considering that they are almost identical in size.
Interior Design
Although the interior design of the Impreza may not be exceptional, the build quality and feel are outstanding. The Impreza feels solid and will last a long time. This is what you would expect from a Subaru. Although some defective materials are not present in any places where passengers or the driver interact.
Subaru chose a simple, logical layout over a flashy one. We love to shock and awe, but there is something to be said about an interior that feels like it’s been with you for ten years. The climate control dials and manual air conditioning are easily accessible, and the controls on your steering wheel are simple to comprehend.
Both the Premium and base models have a 6.5-inch touchscreen high-resolution display. The base comes with four speakers. Premium trim adds two additional speakers, HD Radio and SiriusXM satellite. The Sport and Limited have an eight-inch high-resolution touchscreen interface. Every iteration includes Bluetooth connectivity, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth connectivity.
The base model comes with one USB port, while the Premium models get two. Dual rear charging USB ports for the Sport is also available. The Limited and Sport can both be outfitted with Harman Kardon’s sound system. Navigation is only available on the Limited. Every trim, except the entry-level model, comes standard with a 4G LTE WiFi hotspot.
New Subaru Impreza 2023 Engine
This is the area that Subaru Impreza finds the most trouble. The engine is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder. Mazda and Honda are the main competitors. Both offer engines with approximately 180 horsepower. Mazda’s SkyActiv technology lets it build high-compression engines that produce plenty of power from a 2.5-liter four-pot without compromising efficiency. Honda, however, chose the turbocharged small-capacity engine route.
Subaru’s 2.0-liter four-pot doesn’t have much power down low, so you need to work hard. The Impreza would be a lot more efficient if it had a gearbox that enabled the driver to get the most out of its 152 horsepower and 145 lb-ft of torque. However, both gearboxes do not allow for this. The CVT is slow and plods the car to speed. The five-speed manual does better because the driver is in charge. It doesn’t feel enjoyable to use manual gearboxes.
New Subaru Impreza 2023 Price and Release Date
The Impreza’s base price is only $19,295. This model can be upgraded with a CVT transmission for only $1,300. The Premium is next in line, starting at $22,695. Only the CVT transmission is available for this model. The Sport is priced at $22,995 with a 5-speed manual transmission. The cost of adding a CVT transmission to this model is lower, at $1,100. The MSRP for the Limited is $26,395, and it only comes with the CVT transmission. Subaru charges $925 for delivery and destination, which isn’t included in the price.
