The Subaru Impreza can be described as a 176.2-inch hatchback. All models except the Limited come with halogen headlights. The Premium and Limited have fog lights. The Limited features an entirely LED setup that rotates with you turning the steering wheel. Premium models have 16-inch alloy wheels, and the base model has steel wheels with covers.
The Impreza hatch is a class leader in its segment. The Mazda 3 is one of its most accomplished competitors, and it stacks up quite well. The overall length of the Impreza’s body is 176.2 inches. This makes it 0.6 inches longer than the Mazda. The Impreza’s wheelbase of 105.1 may be slightly shorter than that of the Mazda’s 107.3, but it’s still impressively high at 57.3 inches.

The Impreza would be a lot more efficient if it had a gearbox that enabled the driver to get the most out of its 152 horsepower and 145 lb-ft of torque. However, both gearboxes do not allow for this. The CVT is slow and plods the car to speed. The five-speed manual does better because the driver is in charge. It doesn’t feel enjoyable to use manual gearboxes.

The Impreza’s base price is only $19,295. This model can be upgraded with a CVT transmission for only $1,300. The Premium is next in line, starting at $22,695. Only the CVT transmission is available for this model. The Sport is priced at $22,995 with a 5-speed manual transmission. The cost of adding a CVT transmission to this model is lower, at $1,100. The MSRP for the Limited is $26,395, and it only comes with the CVT transmission. Subaru charges $925 for delivery and destination, which isn’t included in the price.
